  23. Response! Of course! Your own response is of first importance... I have actually stripped down and showered after applying perfume from a sample because it reacted so differently on my skin than inside a glass vial. Then there are those times when you catch a whiff of yourself wearing a favorite and say, Damn, I smell great!
