love your choice... of leafless trees and the pic so suitable the words...as if tender music
thanks for the lovely comment you left in my blog post. ;-) i am beginning to love poetry again. i didn't know we could also write a short story on the picture, LOL. Well, the next we are given an assignement, I might make another poem or maybe a story this time just to change it up a bit. I will be following your blog, take care always!http://charmedwishes18.blogspot.com
Or... how to write a short story in only ten words! Wonderfully concise!
nice...i do see the symmetry...wonderfully done...
I see them as two elderly folks, still holding hands as they shuffle along in the winter of life.Beautiful photo - compliments to your son...and truly evocative poetry.Mmmm....
A senryu? I love this poetic genre and both the photo and your poem do it proud!Kat
Lovely! good job!
I like your use of the word "illusion" here. Creating an illusion is very much different from actually being. I enjoy you calling the illusion into question here. Nice work, Helen!
Wonderful Helen, "illusion of lush symmetry"...I so see and feel that. The word lush is such a great word
Neat and tidy and... look cold! Thanks for the visit too.
Cool and simple. Lovely stuff!
the image and poem are perfect. the trees could be so many things, the coming together being greater than the sum of the parts and all that. Reminded me of love, either parent and child or partners. Simple but far reaching.
Why "seemingly" leafless?
You've written something that matches the picture perfectly. It's hard to imagine a winter-scape as being lush - but this one is!
such soft 'lush' sentiments... lovely!
That is so clever, wonderful and totally beautiful.
Proves what can be done by working together! :)
lovely words! and thanks for the nice comments you left for me!
Brief, enigmatic, intriguing!
perfection in 10 words!!!!
Very apt for this week's prompt!
Nice write, little leafless one. Thanks.
Beautiful shot and poem. Made me wish I had boarded the bus this week...
