That's one of the housekeeping duties I'm not that keen on, Helen. This is due largely to the fact that I find vacuums cumbersome, frustrating to deal with their tubes and parts and chambers. I DO like the sucking up part though!I like the way your poem mimic the tornado inside the vac.Kat
Ew, NOT my favourite task, but marginally better than mopping. I think you definitely got the challenge bang on with this one. :)
Reading your poem made me appreciate my vacuum a bit more. This has a lovely rhyme to it: "Cookie crumbs lava dust and more".
Very fun...I can see a whole series here...ironing, dishes, etc Have a lovely week, cheers Katherine
wow... vacuuming, not something i'm into..I like to read... I don't know many people who do
I like to iron- wanna trade!
Disappointed you girls live so far away - I am not at all jealous about anyone else doing my household chores for me ... some of the other things people have written about this week are also right up there on my "Things I don't like doing" list
Ooh, that's my absolute favourite one too! Instant gratification, and you feel like you've actually done housework!
As a little girl, I liked to sweep. I wonder, what is it about vacuuming? Thanks for the post
Love housework, but not keen on the old vacuuming or ironing, they are my pet hates. So now I don't do carpets, and instead I play at sweeping instead. Great pic and poem by the way!
What an entertaining way to celebrate the vaccuum! You're brilliant! What I find marvelous about vaccuums is that your hands don't have to touch the filthy stuff, just point and the machine does the dirty work.
I hate the vacuum also -- I think it's the noise that it makes. My mother loved to vacuum -- she covered all the beautiful wood floors with carpet so she could use that vacuum. That said, I love this poem -- maybe because it reminds me of my own floors?
You should have an affair with that Dyson guy! ;-)
I like this poem, nicely done :)Short Poems
