Gazing deeply into your amber eyes
I sense sadness and fear
I will be your Dorothy
Your magic Wizard
Those amber eyes tell a story
Of a journey to the Emerald City
Following the yellow brick road
Courage is yours for the asking
Now you rule the savannahs
Brave and revered
Cunning and calculating
My task accomplished

I like your journey! Your are the Wizard and you are Dorothy. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like the imaginative leap to the lion's eyes for amber. Loved the 'Cunning and calculating' after 'Brave and revered' - I liked the increasing complexity.
