Brilliant version of "Someone left my cake out in the rain"! I feel your pain!
Jimmy Webb wrote "MacArthur Park" of course, and he wrote another good song called "Spring Will Be A Little Late This Year" that Carly Simon recorded.
still makes me feel hungry ... even if wet
It looks like an Aero Bar, did you ever taste them, milk chocolate and full of bubbles!
My deepest sympathy..but an icky bar may be better than none!
oh no now all the drinks are watered down, further than they usually are at a bar...smiles.
I have to admit this song always bothered me. I love what you did with this, the whole presentation is perfection. I listen and I try to get to what it is that kills me about this song and nope I still have no idea what it is.
Aaw!So sorry about this...!!Reminds me how my domestic washed the peppermints today!! lolsHugs xox
Bar? As in chocolate? Oh NO!!
Well, I thought you meant a bar, as in where you get a drink and was wondering about Moonie marbles, but then the chocolate drop dropped! A tragedy of planetary proportion!
Yes, Helen I truly can feel your pain....gotta have chocolate!! :-)
Chocolate---of course! I might just eat it wet---pitiful isn't it; I'm on a diet. Fun take on the prompt. Thanks for stopping in at my place.
Very clever! A moon, shower curtain, rain - you see chocolate. Did you give it up for lent and are now seeing it everywhere? :)
Penny dropped eventually! You man Hershey/Aero/Mars bar. Slow this morning! Great take on the prompt.
I've answered your eMail. Phew! Glad I got the right song!Ingenious little Magpie.(I think the man in the red beret above means "mean" not "man", man!)
Yummy take on the prompt - but oh the pain! I think I would still eat it!Anna :o]
Ha! Love it! I'd be licking up the sidewalk! And it does look like an Aero bar!
It was one of my most melancoly favorites...yes, I feel your pain...
