Magpie Sixty

someone left my bar
out in the rain
i don't think that i can take it
cause it took so long to find it
the taste is compromised, bland
its texture altered, mushy, beyond recovery
do you feel my pain

  2. Jimmy Webb wrote "MacArthur Park" of course, and he wrote another good song called "Spring Will Be A Little Late This Year" that Carly Simon recorded.

  7. I have to admit this song always bothered me. I love what you did with this, the whole presentation is perfection. I listen and I try to get to what it is that kills me about this song and nope I still have no idea what it is.

  9. Well, I thought you meant a bar, as in where you get a drink and was wondering about Moonie marbles, but then the chocolate drop dropped! A tragedy of planetary proportion!

  12. Very clever! A moon, shower curtain, rain - you see chocolate. Did you give it up for lent and are now seeing it everywhere? :)
