Magpie 65 ~ Dreaming of Assisi

solo traveler, I walk alone
actor on a stage, whoever I wish to be
follow the Umbrian sun wherever it leads
stone streets guiding me to
a city untouched by the present
my reward ~ St. Francis
my soul is nourished

  22. Dear Helen: Love the imagery of the place name from once St. Francis arises
"follow the Umbrian sun wherever it leads"
Italy being a sun-drenched place must have imbued his soul with light and love! No wonder so many honeymoons there! Downy feel so comfortable and earthy! Good vibes!
