Heartstrings
Out of the blue
A voice from the past
Launching a barrage
Of memories and emotions
They were lovers
Heartbeats in synch
In tune
The perfect symphony
Why now
They ended it years ago
No strings attached
Each going off
In a new direction
But it was always there
That chemistry
In spite of the distance
In spite of the years

Ooh - very interesting! Ships in the night, or more than this?
ReplyDeleteI like your interpretation very much, Helen.

ReplyDeleteHello Ms.Helen..I love how you penned your words and how you have put them all together..to add up..because often times things just happen..it was just not meant to be..passing by ;)
