Ooh, Helen... I like! I had to laugh at her dreams of mansions and ball gowns...
ReplyDeleteLoved it. Very nicely done, my eyes were happily moving around :)
ReplyDeletesmiles...ya know...i'm sure her dreams will become much more intense and exciting when he finally bites her...who really wants to dream of mansions and ball gowns anyway...just saying...smiles...nice take..
ReplyDeleteI like the contrast of her dreams, with the reality of his fangs biting into her...And I like the picture you chose ~
ReplyDeleteVery nice Acrostic here. That photograph is perfectly mirrored in your verse. Terrific job. Thanks
ReplyDeletevery cool and I too like the acrostic ... mind telling me where your blog's main pic is from (the metal horse sculpture?) I keep feeling I've seen it recently but just can't remember where and it's bothering me (it's also very cool)

LOL... Lucky man on all counts! (pun intended) :)
ReplyDeleteReally liked the way you played with form here (acrostic, learned a new word today, thanks Fred!). This was fun and the contrast between her dreams and his desire was very battle of the sexes.
ReplyDeleteahem, perhaps he should lay off the little blue pill on nights he goes hunting...grins....haha...nice acrostic, and classic vapirism....
ReplyDeleteHad a nice laugh at Brian's comment and her dreams of mansions, well played acrostic.
ReplyDeleteAn acrostic poem! That's pretty rare, but you executed that rather well.
ReplyDeleteThere she is just dreaming of ball gowns....what's a girl to do when Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome enters her boudoir?!!
ReplyDeleteThis was great. I was going to tell you that I wrote a "word poem" two weeks ago for Flash Fiction 55 but our host has been in the hospital so we haven't posted 55s. And, hah! Now I learn from Samuel's comment that it is an "acrostic poem." :)
Elections he cannot control? What...?
ReplyDeleteOHHHH. "Erections". Gotcha.
Ha. A lot of fun. K.
ReplyDeleteHah. This is so good. What a dirty old man, that Lugosi.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a vampire with his clothes off. Clearly, you have! Naughty Helen!
