Sevenling For The Toads

 en brunaille ...

I call this place Sepia
safe haven
bathed in shades of brown
living life as escape artist
no one encounters me here
plotting and scheming the hours away
archetypal game of hide and seek

  4. The country cottage
    Edwardian, or earlier
    frocked with vines
    in the company of trees.
    A retreat from the world
    but perhaps with its own
    subtle sepia suggestion,
    come visit.
    Please.

  5. Yes, a beautiful hideaway, behind big windows laced with climbers, a romantic setting for sure.

  8. What a wonder of a place! So whimsicality of the setting is something I adore. I imagine music floating out from the window and a nice breeze floating in through the window. Sigh...

  10. I get the beauty of a place to freely create, but also catch the colorlessness of the safety and pray that it is a choice and not a parking space with no entrances and exits.
