The Kiss

Inside my robe of gold
He holds me softly, tenderly
I yearn for his kiss
The touch of his hands

  5. Fireblossom's right - that IS you! This does exactly what it is supposed to do - sets an erotic mood. Well done.

  6. Like the touch of whimsy with the face, and the contrast of tender embrace with stiff robes works nicely.

  7. LOL! You don't know how LONG I stared at that painting...thinking..."I have seen that a dozen times and don't remember her face looking like this...and you know it looks like Helen! Wait a minute..."

    HAHAHAHA!

    You are a hoot!

  10. I think most women would love to be the girl in this painting... and you were the one to get it right.. Gotta love some phallic representation ;)

  14. How did you do that? I consider myself fortunate if I can take a decent photo, transfer it from my camera to my computer, then put it onto my blog without bursting into tears.
There you are, immortalized in a Klimt, and your talent shows in your poem, too. SO not fair. LOL
    Good work, Helen.

  16. ...inside those robes of gold...

I love her expression. His is hidden, but the way he is holding her with his hands hints at his tender feelings. Nicely done!
