Magpie 156

Jacek Yerka ~ Wind of History

stuck in a muck of a mess
can’t seem to make it up 'the hill'
to the 5-star restaurant
everyone is tweeting about
a nice facsimile of The White House
"3 Stars" proclaims the Michelin Man
what are they serving today?
filet of buster
lame duck a l'orange
creamy potato and leak(s) Soup
for dessert why not try a nice
compromise and consensus tart!

bon appétit

  2. One of the mottos I live by is that I never walk into a restaurant that has a big hole in its roof, at least not on a rainy day. Call me a bigot, but that's just the way I am.

Thanks for being such an avid commenter as of late Helen.
You have a fantastic zest for life that rubs off on all
that you touch. (I just LOVE saying rubbing and touching in the same sentence)

  24. Capitol Hill is really into fudging figures and gumming up the works. Perhaps a good dose of E-Lax would clean them all out. I loved your witty poem!
