Feel the Heat

never know how I dislike you
never know how much I dread
when I feel you start a creepin'
I know it's time to head for bed

you make me crazy
overtake me

crazy when you won't let go
so hot!  in the mornin'
crazy oh don't cha know

is it heat or sickness
summer time is here
too hot for this wonderin'
so I'm gonna go grab a beer

you make me crazy
over bake me

crazy when you hold too tight
so hot!  in the mornin'
crazy there's no end in sight

pity there's no end in sight
awful there's no end in sight

    1. You know? At my age I can get away with almost anything. No shame.

    2. I suspect you've gotten away with almost anything through your whole life.

But what does a Bear know?

  21. Hilarious, Helen--I remember my mother used to LOVE that song--she fancied herself as a bit of a torch singer--now even saying the word torch is making me hot! Great performance, Helen.

  29. My sentiments about the heat exactly, Helen. ayay! It is very hard to focus on anything in the weather we had last week. Thank God, there was some thunderstorm last night to mitigate the heat. I hope you had your little respite too. :-)

  30. Fabulous, Helen! Have you tried getting thyself to an ocean? It has started to cool off this evening so Dick can take the dog for a walk.
