River Walk

this is where I think
I dream
plot and scheme
my most creative self

careful with my steps
so as not to fall in
drown in my own rhetoric
going, going, gone

  1. Cool... love "drown in my own rhetoric"

  2. This is where ...
Loving it, the falling in verse also!

  3. careful!! gotta watch out for that! :)

  4. to drown in your own rhetoric...ha...
def i will take the peaceful place by the river...

  5. This is very cleverly done - with a touch of whimsy. I love the creativity in your photos.

  6. Drown in your own rhetoric? Hmmm. I'm not so sure about that; is it even possible for you to do that, Woonie lady?

The picture is delightful. I like rivers and streams a whole lot.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

  7. I actually majored in Rhetoric in college, Helen, so have ample experience drowning in mine. Yes, it's an actual BA at Cal Berkeley (among a handful of other universities). So, I have a BA in BS. :) ~

  8. Such a beautiful place, and I'm sure you carry many such open places with you, and surely they must give rise to creative thinking... Poetry requires the immersion - so long as we remember to breathe and swim.

  9. That looks like a great place for a walk! The beauty is you can take your creative space with you wherever you go!

  10. …plot and scheme… No not Helen. I imagine poetry is created when you smile :)

  11. Have to find that balance of writing, falling but not drowning, good one Helen ~
