beautiful and graceful lines...i specially like "the sinner seeking state of grace "...
This poem has the most tranquil mood, Helen. You have imbued the lines with the atmosphere of this holy place. I especially like the way you captured a contrast in these lines:off notes, dissonant harmoniesproviding sweet resolutionI guess this is what the human heart is seeking in such pilgrimages.
what a nice place... where can I book a ticket... :-)
Thank you for your lovely words - I want to go too!Anna :o]
Ah, yes. Delightful. Silence, calm, ideal for reflection and poetry.Blessings and Bear hugs!
Sort of a 'care free' sojourn here, Helen. I'd like a pilgrimage like that. The words make it seem sooo nice and peaceful where you were. I had that feeling in Martinique, but not in Barbados. St. Kitts was neutral. Montserrat? You make me want to go...
Those pictures are truly amazing Helen! Thanks so much for coming by friend.Cindy
Feels like being in church.
Beautifully done, Helen.
I hope to visit someday ~
