Very nice and very unique choice of words the overall effect is wonderful!!
This so clearly conveys the sense of things shutting down at winter's approach.
This is beautiful, Helen.
Dearest Helen,Well, it is a time for being a bit melancholic indeed... Summer is slipping away. We had rain yesterday and clouds today. The noises are sounding different in the garden now the buffer of thick, healthy leaves is wearing down; literally. But here in Georgia it still remains lovely for a few months and I am thrilled for being past the heat and humidity of July and August. Now the balcony can be enjoyed more often!Sending you hugs,MarietteSo happy for you to live in the best mountain town retirement location! (^_^)
Winter. Sleep. Hibernate. Walk in the snow. Roast marshmallows.Blessings and Bear hugs!
cant i just live in the autumn...let winter take its time with me this year....let me enjoy the sigh...
