I'm so sad right now, it is hard to comment but thank you for this fine tribute to a wonderful person.
I'm so sorry...I didn't know him personally but so many of us did and my heart aches for everyone's loss. ♥
Yes, a fitting tribute.
What a great tribute and so well written. Actually it is imaginative and touching at the same time.
A very nice tribute to a person you liked on the Internet. I've lost four blogging friends, one close and (long distance) dear.I did not know Galen or who he was until reading the comments here.....
it is a sad day...one of the old 55ers gave me a call last night after it hit facebook...galen was a wonderful man...
Oh, no!!! A wonderful tribute but a big loss.
… I am quite sad. He was a bright light out there in blogger land - his wit and intelligence raised everyone up. A first class gentlemen. I will miss him.
really fine, Helen ~
... hopeful his light will shine throughout the community... that's the tribute to him
I'm so sorry. I've lost some too, and I often think about them.
Such a great tribute to a kind and good man.
I felt so sad too when I read the news ~ Losing a cyber friend is tough indeed ~
I love the way you've used "Mourning comes" and "Morning comes" — a beautifully balanced tribute, Helen, and the homophone words do not seem out of place, or artificially placed, at all. Well done.K
This is just wonderful, Helen. Very well done, and really quite full of mourning even in its cleverness. k.
If, perchance you stop by ... my son and I are spending January in Cocoa Beach Florida, with scant access to wifi. Heavenly this time of year on the ocean. See you in February!!
Cyber-friends become real when their words evoke actions in our heart. I've made many--lost two. The pain hurt just like any other hurt. "Mourning comes..." indeed.
Sorry for your loss, Helen. Losing friends is tough, whether the face-to-face kind, or the virtual kind.Blessings and Bear hugs. (I'm going back to hibernating.)
Hope you are enjoying your Florida time! Sounds lovely.
Lovely tribute. So sorry for your loss, darling.xoxox,CC
It seems I am a bit behind the times here. I am so sorry to know that you lost a friend. It is never easy.
