Remembering

On December 9, 2014 we lost a great friend ~  a man who made us laugh, who inspired us.  This one's for Galen.

The G-Man

mourning comes
losing a cyber friend is tough
sound bytes, reality bites
reel to real we enjoyed him
morning comes

  4. A very nice tribute to a person you liked on the Internet.
I've lost four blogging friends, one close and (long distance) dear.
I did not know Galen or who he was until reading the comments here.

  12. I love the way you've used "Mourning comes" and "Morning comes" — a beautifully balanced tribute, Helen, and the homophone words do not seem out of place, or artificially placed, at all. Well done.

  14. If, perchance you stop by ... my son and I are spending January in Cocoa Beach Florida, with scant access to wifi.

Heavenly this time of year on the ocean. See you in February!!

  15. Cyber-friends become real when their words evoke actions in our heart. I've made many--lost two. The pain hurt just like any other hurt. "Mourning comes..." indeed.

  16. Sorry for your loss, Helen. Losing friends is tough, whether the face-to-face kind, or the virtual kind.

Blessings and Bear hugs. (I'm going back to hibernating.)
