Channeling Joan Didion

I live wildly in my imagination
days I refuse to plug in
answer emails
turn on my phone
when it comes to writing
I fly by the seat of my bloomers
don’t know what I think
until I write it down

  4. It seems many of us (waves at Carrie) have a pair... of those glorious bloomers that fly at their own speed. Love this, Helen! ♥

  5. I loved that quote, Helen. And you did it so nicely. Loan me ... I also used it, but took off running from it and turned to Mrs. Jim's parallel quote, "When I shop I don't know what I want until I see it"
Oh yes, it's been a few days since I checked in on FB or Yahoo e-mail. But then I'm trying to get my taxes done by tomorrow.

  8. Dearest Helen,
Love the use of your 'Bloomers'! That is hilarious and yes, at times we have no beginning and still we manage to write and produce a story. Even though I'm not writing poetry like you do...
    Hugs,

  13. I would say that the last two lines are at least half true for me.
