First Avenue

Back in the 80s before Prince launched a tour, he rehearsed at First Avenue, no fanfare.  We learned about these rehearsals via telephone calls ~ landlines, no cells!

sweet venue lying in wait

we were the 'splurge generation'
on our feet screaming for more
{ needing a fix }
music our drug of choice
