~~  let’s muse on invisibility, what does it feel like to be invisible?

I dream in technicolor
every imaginable shade

when I no longer dream in color
I lose my imagination

when I have lost my imagination
I lose my memories

when I have lost my memories
I become invisible

... I cease to exist

  1. Hey Helen, I am glad you/your muse dream in color. I don't even have really people just their beings in my dreams. Maybe that's because I don't visualize, but I have never remembered any thing near a color in my dreams.

  2. Taken in reverse, this illustrates how wonderful you are

  3. I like the progression of this. I NEED color in my life, so I understand.

  4. You are one of the most colorful people I know! :)

  5. Oh this is so poignant.. the thought of becoming invisible when one loses their memories is so deep!!

  6. Yes – that scary thought holds much truth.

  7. Yes... and terrifying for sure. Ouch.

  8. Imagination is incredible in dreams. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that when I've dreamed of being in places I know I've never been, with people I've ever seen, how does this happen?. Tiny flashes of memories? What stays with us and why?

I think dreams come in all shapes and sizes...I'm not always too pleased with mine.

Lovely, Helen, and always something to think about.

  9. This is so striking, especially about losing imagination. I don't dream in color when asleep, but I dream vividly when awake. :)

  10. Dearest Helen,
Let us hope not to become invisible for a long time to come!
Dreaming and living toward our dreams is what keeps us all going.
There are those days that add color to our soul, on which we can borrow for dark days that do come our way.
    Sending you hugs,
