Fahrvergnügen all the way baby!
don't let that sweet smile and white hair fool you
she's perfected the art of looking refined
24 carat .. the real deal
watch as she swooshes into the packed lot
Fahrvergnügen all the way baby
no way in hell is she
gonna surrender that primo space
admit it .. you've always wanted
to witness a maneuver like hers
[ one-upping the competition ]
she wagers Virgos are a rare breed tonight
breathes a deep sigh
slides into that "VIRGO" slot
hers and hers alone!
[ come on, be honest .. wouldn't you like to be a Virgo too? ]

Ha! I know both Virgos and Leos and neither is truly the retiring type! Thanks, Helen. k.
ReplyDeleteHa.. Battling for parking spaces has never been my style.. But I think I have seen this kind.
ReplyDeleteI wish you could see the smirk on my face. I'm an Aries, and you know how full of ourselves we can be... and often are *cough*. But right now, I'm tipping my witchy hat to the hilarious power of a Virgo driving. ;-D
ReplyDeleteHaha! I love this, Helen. My husband and younger daughter are both Virgos, so I know the score.
ReplyDeletelemme guess....you were born between August 23 and September 22nd!!!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun read! Cheers!
Fun. My poem is also about a disrespectful parked car. But yours has an attractive kind of pizzazz that makes me laugh.
ReplyDeleteHa..ha.. smiling back at you Helen ~ What a comeback fro Corey's challenge ~
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile....Virgo Is Preferred, cackle.......love it. I, on the other hand, am the one in the rusted dented wreck, hesitating just that few seconds too long to get the spot. I am resigned to it. Virgos Do It Better, hee hee! This was fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!!! I can picture that Virgo raking her hand in the air and letting out a little meow after parking that car....this rally made my day Helen. Thanks for playing,
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that we virgos were that . . . well, whatever.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
You know I wouldn't mind judging on this twenty four carat piece
ReplyDeletea hoot, Helen :) ~
ReplyDeleteMy mother explained the fact that we didn't get along as well as we might by pointing out that she was a Virgo and me a Pisces.
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny. I can just imagine it! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me, Helen.
ReplyDeleteWell I am a Scorpio and you know how shy and retiring they are. I never battle for space. I just drive a bit more until I find the better space! The one marked: If you aren't a Scorpio, don't bother.
ReplyDeleteLaughing out loud, Ms. Scorpio!
DeleteThis is awesome!💜
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice one, Helen. What do they say, "the old Nag knows her way to the barn?" I wrote on Mox Nicht in September, https://jimmiehov6.blogspot.com/search?q=mox. For sure I don't want to be a Virgo, it would require surgery, I'm a Scorpio but I don't pay attention nor blame. What it will be will be, Mox Nicht.
ReplyDelete..
Ha! What an amusing piece! I like this maneuver of the Virgo; it is such a treat.
ReplyDelete-HA
Loved; I have a Virgo around here also.
ReplyDeleteI have had a busy day, but you just made my day here Helen. Such a wonderful read. Cannot read this one without a smile appearing on your face. Love it!
ReplyDeleteBetter to admire than feel annoyed ... I guess.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm a Virgo, but don't relish fighting for parking spaces.
ReplyDeleteBut bring a Bear,
1. I don't need parking spaces very often, and
2. If I just stand up, people will usually give me enough space that I can park where I need to be.
When it comes to parking, don't you wish you were a Bear, too?
My dream, to be a female version of Rob Bear! And rule the parking lots!
DeleteI am not a Virgo sun but a Virgo moon, and surrounded by Virgo family members. I have come to appreciate their candour, and loving insistence on doing the right thing.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this. Grinning.......
ReplyDeleteThis made me think of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. :D I don't think I know too many Virgos though.
ReplyDeleteOh my dear wooney friend! Thanks for dreaming along with me. I feel very flattered by your dream; that will keep my spirits high for a month at least!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
