Quadrille Monday

out of the blue

a voice from the past

barrage of emotion

we ended it years ago

no strings attached

heading in different directions

but it was there

heart-beats in harmony

history, chemistry, destiny

in spite of the distance

in spite of the years

  2. It's funny how that can happen!

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but if so, I hope it works out and brings you both happiness.

  4. This sort of thing always haunts me. One's heart does not stop. And so one's suffering continues. I adore it completely.

  8. Dearest Helen,
It is always sad if the chemistry kind of ends or goes in two directions without the harmony of hearts.

  11. Aww, so that's what happened. The road you eventually took was the right one after all, I hope you know this. (If fictional, too) Be well, dear Helen. Loved this poem (too) You're amazing with words. They got "Heart"
