Baton Up!

                                                         Bend Oregon ~ Drake Park

October ... a conductor’s dream

summer’s last note of grace aglow

crescendo, octave low, sforzando

staccato's sharp blow

morphs into snow

  2. I am not musical but this was music to my ears. Love the rhyming and "sharp blow

  3. Nice message from your conductor of the Fall Symphony. October's beauty doesn't last long, 'sfz' and enjoy!!
Actually here the leaves turn any time from mid November until end of December depending on the type of foliage.

  4. A clever musical October interlude ending with a snow cone, no less. Who could ask for more?!

  5. Dearest Helen,
Well, if that morphing into snow always has such a colorful prelude, one does welcome it!
That three-trunk tree is stunning with its golden fall leaves.
    Enjoy your area.
    Hugs,
    Mariette
