1.
please tell me why
we need to fill space
cram it with stuff
we don't need in the first place
2.
space is essential
for dreaming, just being
unlocking potential
it's amazingly freeing
3.
takes time to stop heartache
blot out the pain
we need space, to move slowly
begin life again
4.
with space we hit 'pause'
stop treading the mill
re-set our psyches
we know the the drill

Dearest Helen,
ReplyDeleteYep, moving slowly to begin life again...
Went from 88 lbs to 93.9 lbs so I feel hopeful.
Hugs,
Mariette
Empty space sounds so refreshing in a world where a shelf, a cupboard, a room, more often than not, all overflow with clutter. :)
ReplyDeleteLike your photo....yes I need to do some ruthless decluttering....I keep on getting rid of stuff and yet more stuff creeps back in.....I'm afraid I am never going to be a minimalist...I remind myself constantly that a shroud has no pockets:)
ReplyDeleteThat's true social, mental and physical space today is crammed with things - we do need space for dreaming..
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought you were referring to the 'space junk' that our rockets and satellites and things leave up there – and indeed your words could apply to that. Then I realised you are referring to the clutter in my house, lol.
ReplyDelete"The space where dreams are made" can never be too large, nor too full - I sincerely hope! Giving oneself freedom to dream is always a perfect gift. ♥
ReplyDeleteAll of a sudden, I feel the urge to do some autumn cleaning... Thank you for the inspiration! Having space is very therapeutic.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I love the beach. It's like a blank slate of space!
ReplyDeleteTime and space are two elements that make one to be necessarily more organised. Nice to be blessed with loads of them.

Love the photo, Helen! I agree with Colleen. The beach is space.
