After Midnight

brushstrokes of moonlight

in shades of jazzy blues

midnight's rhythms

wildflowers in bloom

mine and mine alone

  5. Own & enjoy all the wonders-
"Mine and mine alone" gives a sense of ownership.

  6. This invokes so much in so few words. I feel like so much as happened and been felt in the jazzy blues and the wild flowers and then that last line "mine and mine alone".... it feels like an achievement. I feel like we've had a night out and then arrived home in peace and satisfaction.
