A Penny For Your Poems

looking in the mirror is a scary sight

I put down the mirror - go for a walk in the park

I feel soft and smooth still growing towards the tree tops

and I've a language of my own like no other you've ever

known

**** Thank you poets!!!

Melissa is playing host in the Poets Pub today. Cento poetry is the assignment. Cento is a poem composed from lines of other writers’ poems, a bit like a collage or quilt, which is the meaning of the Latin word cento.

  1. Helen, you put a lot into four lines! Walking in the park is always a wonderful restorative process. Communing with nature is a language of its own indeed. Thanks for writing to the prompt!🌳
