indomitable, scaling
mountains
one cleat at a time
each step a lesson learned
onward upward and never look back
lest you forget it all
stumble and fall
Rosemary introduces us to the 'textu' ~ a poem of 160 characters ~ meaning every letter, space and piece of punctuation!! On our cell phones, one page is defined as 160 characters ~ thus the form's name.

Dearest Helen,
ReplyDeleteLove the word indomitable!
Hugs,
Mariette
Please don't blame the climber, let him say what he wants and you hang on. Thank you for the new word for me, 'indomitable' ("adjective - impossible to subdue or defeat: . . "). Now if I could just remember it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I tripped and fell at 4AM Thursday. I had just gotten out of bed on my way to the Bath Room when I tripped on my cane, lost my balance, and fell. I have broken kneecaps which never healed and cannot get on my knees. My son-in-law came over, he, and my wife recruited a neighbor fellow to, get me up.
I went to my Pediatric doctor yesterday. Nothing broken, but stretched muscles and was/am very sore.
..
This poem is excellent - i personally love it - Scaling mountains - stumble and fall - it capturers it all.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Alan; I think you did very well with your textu.
ReplyDeleteVery clever, it basically includes everything a person does who thinks, falls, picks himself up and carries on (indomitable).
ReplyDeleteI really liked it, small simple and comprehensive..
I don't know what textu is but I like this uplifting encouragement.
ReplyDeleteLast two lines are quite powerful, Helen.
