Is it wrong of me to
stroll through summer fall winter spring
pockets crammed full of hoarded sunshine
incandescent light
or would you rather I skulked
limped through gardens
flashlight in hand
a perpetual scowl on my face
digging for worms in the dark

I say always carry the light - a beautifully crafted and enjoyable poem - Jae
