Sweet Diagnosis!

i went to my doctor, head in a spin

diagnosis: symptoms of sugar within

body full of candy, thoughts in a crush

i hum fizzy jingles, talk in a rush!

i dream of confections in rainbow extremes

marshmallow mountains, soda pop streams

'you're not sick mused he with a skeptical eye

just chasing your dreams, on a sugar fueled high!

  1. I can relate. I had a sweet tooth for many years. Now I indulge only occasionally. What annoys me is my waistline does not reflect this change. Sigh.

  4. You need to ration yourself with the sugary stuff.
I have this tiny little British guard who doles out a few M&M candy pieces when I push his flag down. I just now had two before I took his picture.
I plan to write about him for my next Friday Write entry.
