Remembering Tuscany, 2016

Magaly provides this phrase as inspiration for our poetry ~ “the world is burning, but…”

the world is burning, but

when olive groves call

leaves dance in the breeze

  1. Helen, I love this so much! A perfect (contemporary, English-language) haiku. These three lines say it all.

  3. Like your Haiku, Helen. Rosemary has had a lot of experience lately. I have an olive grove picture on my blog near the infirmary where Vincent Van Gogh's cut of ear was treated.
BTW my poem was not a truth, fiction. That happens and folks sometimes believe what I wrote. Guess I might start telling when. I wouldn't like to be kicked out of the Miserable Poet League for misrepresentation.
