Streets turn green / laughter spills
a bright and rowdy run
yet somewhere far beyond the cheers
the world has come undone
We raise a mug with tempered hearts
aware of all that's wrong
hoping that a spark of joy
might help us carry on
Music lifts / dancers whirl
share their happy grace
headlines whisper heavy truths
we cannot quite erase
Even in these shadowed hours
a moment's light can stay
reminding us resilience blooms
in a small and human way
Let this day be bittersweet
a mingling of the real
grief we hold / hope we keep
the things we long to heal
