A Poem for Friday Writings
early morning spring
when daffodils dance
weave through the air
a tapestry of tender petals
time stands still
i wander a labyrinth of new pathways
losing myself in the sweet beauty
surrounding me
and in this oasis of serenity
my weary soul is soothed
day fades to dusk
daffodils take on a new guise
standing sentinel as shadows
fall among the blooms
weaving tales of mystery and wonder
