ferris wheel flashing in soft twilight
flame to mouth
suffer the burn
sideshow sensation
beauty burning bright
ugh...to feel lik e a sideshow is not much fun...always having to be putting on the show...

Oh, what a marvelous ending line. Perfectly chosen words - precipice, and the image of a carnival... And I have never liked ferris wheels.
