Mr. Springsteen

Mr. Springsteen, I’ve got a tiny wish for mankind
A plea
That you would travel out west Mr. Springsteen
Oh could you make that happen sometime soon.

Mr. Springsteen it’s been a while since I heard you sing
Up close
Two thousand four to be exact, Mr. Brucie
Oh won’t you make it happen sometime soon

Think of all the time that’s passed
Oh I’d be so happy to hear at last
E Street band and Patti too
Songs you wrote the old, the new.

Brucie honey does anything I’m asking make sense
Do tell
I got my boots and my hat Mr. Springsteen
So hurry to the Wild West tonight.

Mr. Springsteen our planet seems a bit out of synch
Right now
Needin’ an intervention quick, Mr. Boss Man
Oh won’t you make it happen tonight.

Mr. Springsteen a bit of Christmas cheer is my wish
This year
For friends and family alike Mr. Boss Man
Oh won’t you make it happen real soon.

Think of all the awesome sights
Out here in the mountains
Starry Snowy nights
Pack your gear with magic dust
In you Bruce I placed my trust.

Brucie darling I wonder if I’ve asked for too much
This year
There’s always next year my friend Mr. Springsteen
So put me on your schedule right now
Put me on your schedule right now
Put. me. on. your. schedule. right. now.

  5. It is good to be assertive even when you have no hope! I had a good laugh at the last few lines.

  6. Wow! Just love this, Helen. I also agree that it would be hard to say no to YOU. Pretty sure you could get this into his orbit here on social media.... maybe your pleas will be heard! One would think he'd travel out west with all the cowboy songs. :)
