Fun in the Pub!
gal in great need
she’s gone to seed
stuck months inside
one long hard ride
feeling much guilt
‘bout how she’s built
used to be svelte
suitors would melt
muscle has vanished
claiming she’s famished
it’s all in her head ~
pass the French Bread

This is wonderful! It occasioned a great guffaw from here! You're just as svelte and downright cute as you were when Covid descended, by the way!

ReplyDeleteO Golly, Helen!! Still lamenting OBE approach? Mine has come and then went fairly silent. My body complains though, I walk with a cane until my broken big toe has had its chance to mend.
