Poetry in the Naive Style

artwork in the "naive" style by Guido Vedovato

do-re-mi / a-b-c
Grandpop 'neath an olive tree

Austria / Italy / doesn't matter
Guido pup / he's growing fatter

Grandpop's knuckles / big times three
sweetest child on earth / it's me

i pet the dog / i twirl on toes
braids go flying / tied with bows

Grandpop please / just one tune more
play the song / i most adore

  1. "sweetest child on earth. it's me"! Oh, no need to work on that kind of self esteem! I laughed with delight.
