At least you have wine (and nibbles)! Your bottles are beautiful. We actually went to the theater in Philadelphia this weekend--everyone vaccinated and masked--but still with some trepidation.
I AM SO SICK OF COVID. Desperate for wine and nibbles with friends, but I'm a bit vulnerable, so we're still being sensible. Things are improving, though, so hopefully not too long. I love this poem - it's wry and witty.
interesting way to pass the time - lovely creations .... and well, as they say, make hay while the sun shines and all that .... at the very least, you have thoughtful, if not perhaps, tipsy neighbours! ;)
One of the bright things about covid, you get the empties for your artwork. There is a light to every darkness it is knowing how to look. I enjoyed your quadrille, Helen.
Not sure why I'm having trouble posting on your site, but here goes again... Congrats on 82! Oh , you probably have another. Just curious about what you do with them all? (hmm..maybe I've asked you this before)
What lovely bottle art you’ve created as the world turns on its axis. So nice and convenient 😃 to have neighbors like yours. I love your poem and the lovely photos: speak wonders. Thanks so much. Be well, Helen.
Dearest Helen, Missed this post as I was going over eighty an hour, driving back all the way from Fort Lauderdale/Plantation in FL to Dublin, GA. Did the 582 miles in 8 hours and 16 minutes. All done solo as Pieter cannot drive the Turnpike nor Interstate. Glad I got home and with fond memories of some freedom in the sunshine and wonderful meeting with our dear friends! Hugs, Mariette
Nibbles and wine... it could be worse. But soon they say it's over (at least here in Sweden we are no opening up)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful bottle to go with a lovely poem.
ReplyDeleteCheers to you making art from empty bottles and nibbles of solitary snacks. I wish for you cheer and connectivity soon.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work Helen, both the poem and the bottles!
ReplyDeleteGreat quadrille!
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, Helen! Although... with enough wine you might feel differently! (just kidding!)
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
David [ben Alexander]
