oh give me a home
bare bones is fine
i have the vision
i'll make it mine
out here in nature
would not wish for more
got beaver and bison
rivers that flow
home as my castle
happy content
visitors welcome
how life is meant
pantry well stocked
wine fridge is too
garden is bursting
with veggies for you
banjo and bongos
whichever your choice
we will make music
sing with one voice
out in the open
life feels just right
come share the magic
this very night

Wow that invite sounds great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog today.
Much💛love
But not really, not you. Nor me. Never, never, live this great sounding life.
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought of the sex trafficking when I wrote, especially of the one who made all the news. And finally rescued.

This is as lovely and welcoming as I imagine your home to be Helen. What a wonderful delight this was to read!! 😍
ReplyDeleteLove the close Helen, a close that registers goodness and happiness always most welcomed. Great rhyming Ma'am, another welcomed aspect!
ReplyDeleteHank
Er...geez, Jim. Anyway, i think with you in charge, Helen, that trailer would be spruced up and filled with friends in no time. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping Blogger gets rid of this immense faux pas and I can caase being Anonymous and be Bev again. Your poem is delightful. Sounds so like you!
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful Helen - a party isn't a party without a bongo. Life is what you make it! A lovely approach to the image.
ReplyDeleteYou make it livable!
