Ho Hum ~~ Fiction

Lori Crawford Arnold Photography

Saturday night, the usual crowd

as is the custom, I mix cocktails.

you manage the music.

[ tell me, are we bored yet? ]

bodies gyrate to the steady thrum

of a jazz drum

simply going through the motions

[ the usual crowd on a Saturday night ]

  2. Helen, I cant imagine you EVER being bored - on a Saturday night, or ever. You are way too vibrant a person. Smiles.

  10. Even fun becomes less so when is repeated too often. At the risk of committing cliché in the first degree, can't have too much of a good thing.
