Dearest Helen, We don't have a view of the moon on our property and it is too cold for getting outside in the pitch dark... Lovely poem! Hugs, Mariette
I haven't listened, too busy. But Chris Koza sings of The Blackberry Moon (2011), We have a lot of trust in the Moon, that it will continue to follow the rules of conduct that we have retrieved for her. ..
I love the idea of everything stopping for the rising of a blackberry moon, Helen, and the way you describe it as riding ‘tides betwixt ocean and stars’.
You managed to capture the pensive mood of the persona with the stillness and rhythmic continuity of the sun, moon, and night sky. And in just a few lines. Now that's brilliance.
Still, peaceful homage to the first full autumn moon. A name I’d never heard it called — love it Helen! π✌πΌ❤️

I love that you used blackberry moon. I don't think I've ever heard of it referred to by that name.
