War Is Hell

sun rises over a camouflaged hut

the place you hang helmet / gun

sun shifts on my side of earth

morphs into dark shroud of night

I gaze at the sky

willing the universe send you home

nightfall my downfall

missing you my curse

  13. The picture faithfully matches the words: War (soldiers, guns, tanks, airplane), darkness, and your wish that the universe stops Hell, and sends those people home.

  14. Yes, the loved ones at home miss the warriors very much.
We can't register "Independent" here in Texas. At the primary election we declare our party for the year when we show up at the polls and ask or one of the parties which we will then vote. For runoffs we can only vote with the party we voted for earlier. If the runoff is the first time we vote then we declare our party at that time by asking for a party ballot in our voting machine. The general election the display allows us to vote for any party's candidate. Most years eve the Communist Party has some candidates.
