give us the strength to teach our daughters
to understand the value of their gender
give us courage to teach our daughters
to stand tall in the face of their own power
help them uncover their inner strength
in stories woven through time
show them fierce queens battlers brave
names engraved in history's tapestry
empowering legacies they might embrace
give us strength to teach our daughters
with gentle words and fierce resolve
with each setback promises to keep
spirits lift when dreams evolve
help us lead them through shadows deep
to understand the value of their gender
let us be their beacon bright
in fields of doubt where shadows loom
with strength born of maternal might
their path illuminated dispelling gloom
give us courage to teach our daughters
to lift them up with tender care
to help them find where they belong
within love's refuge sing their songs
infuse resilience beyond compare
to stand tall in the face of their own power
help us be a fortress
steadfast and strong
through storms and trials
with every stumble every fall
help them uncover their inner strength

As a father of a wonderful talented beautiful daughter, I champion your excellent words here. Though my Jennifer is very successful in her career, in her early years she was compromised because of her beauty. But she has come through it to “stand tall in the face of (her) own power”. Now she is an executive in the financial world, and takes no shit from no one. It was a strength tempered in the fire of ignorant misogynism. Great write my friend! 🙂👍🏼✌🏼🫶🏼

Such loving words and fierce with resolve to protect, guide, nurture, strengthen, to "sing their songs," "stand tall" in the battle that this world is and always has been. A gorgeous cascade.
