Wheeeee, It's Friday!!

Friday is more than just a day

it's a feeling

Friday evening ushers in

a time of unwinding

clinking glasses and laughter

a symphony of camaraderie

drowning out the week's cacophony

it's time to celebrate small victories

shrug off momentary defeats

Happy Hour beckons

Time for a Quadrille in the Pub ~~ not the Dance ~~ the Poem!! De supplies the word "Friday" for us to build our quadrilles around!

    Love this, especially:

  7. TGIF! It doesn't carry the same weight it did when I was working full time, but it still conjures up the clinking of glasses! Nice one Helen.

  10. Definitely a feeling, and one for me so ingrained as an unwinding of the week, not so much now, but such a powerful memory.
