Time For a Quadrille!

Monday in dVerse Poets Pub means QUADRILLE ~ Mish is hosting today ~ our challenge ~ use the word "tangle" or a derivative in a 44-word poem.

tangled lights sway

in night's twilight

lush

spun gold trembles

'neath Ferris Wheel's

hush

spokes turn burgundy

deep red as shadows

reel

spinning tales of stories dark

rhythm turning

steel

two shapes draw near

breaths held

tight

lovers and legends

in the coming

night

  9. I like the form and format you've got here. Sometimes I struggle with the quadrille and working out a good rhyme scheme. Well done.
