Back In The Day

Back in the 80s before Prince launched tours, he rehearsed at First Avenue, with no fanfare.  We learned about these rehearsals via telephone calls from a few select friends ~ on our  landlines!!

we were the 'splurge generation'

on our feet 

needing a quick fix

  5. Prince was not just another pretty face. He sang plenty about revolution and probably why he put it in the band's name. Can't imagine having been able to go to those rehearsals! One of my favorites of his:
