The Happy Wanderer

aging comes with benefits

this I've come to learn

adventure in far off places

I've bridges yet to burn

where to next I ponder

on land, on sea ~ just me?

or throw all caution to the wind

'tis loads more fun with two ~ agree?

De has us dancing in the dVerse Poets Pub today ~ Time to Quadrille!!

  1. The more the merrier but its okay to have the adventures by yourself too. Love the title, happy wanderer.

  2. With the right company, this is absolutely true. But I could crave some land and sea on my own, too! ;) Well spilled.

  4. Traveling. I definitely have the itch. But having a partner for adventuring does it make it all the more rich. :)

  9. I agree, much more enjoyable with more than one. When we visited Alaska about 16 of us traveled together, quite a few widow and single ladies. They had a waiting list for me if and when Arlene konks. I've out lived most of them. My biggest atribute was taking messages for Mrs. Jim when she was golfing and I was home. Do you have a group of lady friends?

  12. I’d like to go awandering too. No knapsack—I like it comfortable, like Judy said in her post—sitting in her fave chair globetrotting in her mind. Need no partner then either. 🙃 win-win. But if you have the means, sure, partner or not get up and go my friend. Make it a safe trip. Xo love this. Selma Martin.
