Enough Already!!!

De [aka Whimsygizmo] is hosting Quadrille in the dVerse Poets Pub ~~ 'Jabbering' is our challenge!

Eighty-three marching to eighty-four

my words prance like brass bands

down the cobblestone streets

of your patience

I tell you too much about everything

the cat's gift on our front stoop

our neighbor's torrid affair

tomorrow I will march even louder

jabbering and unstoppable

    "down the cobblestone streets

    of your patience"

What a vivid visual! So well done.

  2. Yes, those patient cobblestones delighted me too. As a jabberer myself ...

  5. That's fine, I'd love to hear your jabbering! Especially about the neighbors! I hate being told by my children that I'm gossiping! Of course I am.

  6. I’m pleased to see that there are people like that all over the world, Helen; I thought it was just a local thing. I love the words prancing like brass bands, and the ‘cat's gift on our front stoop’ – we get them all the time!

  7. I can take anyone's jabber in small doses. I love this part:
my words prance like brass bands

    down the cobblestone streets

    of your patience

  8. Oh, I do believe you're unstoppable! (But I don't think it's mere jabber.)

  12. Helen, this feels like a joyful parade I wouldn’t want to miss — even if it’s marching right through my living room. ๐ŸŽบ

    Much love,
