nor the wild rush
of youthful passion
'tis echoes of laughter
in an empty room
sweet warmth of voices
laced in the air
love does not leave
it lingers in
stories I tell
and faces I once
traced like poetry ~
'tis a bittersweet day
but I am still here
heart wide open
writing new chapters ~
